Businesses, take action!

Are you carrying out an initiative (hereafter referred to as a “Mobility Action”) to promote sustainable urban mobility? We want to hear about it!

By registering your Mobility Action on this website, you can take part in the European Mobility Week campaign.Once registered, all the actions you undertake to promote sustainable urban mobility will appear in the list of Mobility Actions.

Have you decided to cycle to work with your neighbour? Are you an employer taking concrete steps to encourage your employees to use public transport?

The Ministry of Mobility and Public Works would like to help you share your success story. As long as your action promotes behavioural change towards a more sustainable urban mobility culture and is promotional rather than technical (technical innovations will not be accepted), you are eligible.

Benefits

The Ministry of Mobility and Public Works helps you share your success story in Luxembourg and across Europe. By joining the European Mobility Week campaign, your promotional action will also be visible to all visitors to the official European website. To increase your visibility, you can use the campaign logo and associated promotional materials.

Eligibility criteria

Registration of awareness-raising actions promoting sustainable urban mobility is open to everyone: groups of individuals, NGOs, social partners, research and educational institutes, local and national authorities, public institutions, and public and private companies are all invited to join us.

A Mobility Action can be limited to a specific day or last several weeks or months. It can take place during European Mobility Week (16–22 September) or at any other time of the year.

The action must promote a behavioural change towards a more sustainable urban mobility culture. The organisation promoting the registered action must not be involved in producing or promoting products, activities or events that could harm citizens.

The action must not encourage illegal behaviour or civil disobedience.

The registration form must be submitted in clear, standard English.

Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

Rules

  1. You may display the European Mobility Week logo on your promotional materials. Further details can be found in the toolkit.
  2. The right to participate in the European Mobility Week campaign is granted to the actions themselves, not to institutions or companies. In practice, this means that campaign materials may only be used on web pages promoting the action, not on every page of an organization’s website. Affiliation with the campaign cannot in any way be interpreted as endorsement of advertisements, products, or commercial services.
  3. The decision of the European Secretariat is final. The European Secretariat also reserves the right to reject any registration that does not meet the campaign requirements. By submitting a registration, participants agree that they have no legal recourse to contest the decision of the European Secretariat.
